Description
A collage and tribute to Cornish tin miners. The Black and White flag of Cornwall is known as St. Pirans Flag. St. Piran was a 6th Century Cornish Abbot.
The tin mine images seen here are from the Left, part of what is left of an engine house and pump house at Levant mine. The middle image is a working beam engine that is powered by steam and is now used as a tourist attraction. The image on the right is of the pump houses known as The Crowns, which are situated at Botallock tin mine.
